I don't have visual styles enabled for my application and I am happy with this.
However on a particular form, I require a marquee-style progress bar and this doesn't seem to work without visual styles enabled. I am happy to enable it for this particular form if that is what I have to do, but from what I have read, it looks like this can only be done when the application as a whole starts.
Any advice?
