I have a windows forms application written in visual studio 2008. One very simple form is used to display a .wmf file. When the .wmf file is displayed, it is "squished" vertically. A horizontal line representing 12 feet isn't much shorter than a vertical line represeting 22 feet. Displaying the same file in Microsoft Paint produces the same result. In Paint, the image size in pixels doesn't match the WMF file's meta information. Anyone have any ideas why this is happening? My goal is to have the .wmf file display in a picture box control with the correct proportions (meaning the same as it was when drawn).
