Physical Disk Performance Duplicate instances when MPIO used for managing storages

Hi,

Windows 2008 Server performance data provider publish duplicate instances of Physical Disk when MPIO manager software has been installed/used. MS hot-fix available for this but problem statement is related to MS MPIO, if someone is using MPIO from other venders for example MPIO software from EMC PowerPath. Does below mentioned hot-fix will resolve duplicate Physical Disk instances problem caused due to the EMC PowerPath MPIO?
