So my partner and I have been tasked with making a rendition of battleship in C#. We haven't got very far but we have made a menu and help screen and made a grid out of buttons on the selection screen used to place the battleships. We want to the user to be able to drag and drop the the battleship over on the grid and snap to the nearest set of buttons but we have no idea how to to do this. We are quite new to C# and any help with this would greatly appreciated.
