Hi,
We have a recurring Live site issue with possible DNSCache related issue.
Every now and then, we saw some of our servers, (we have mixed Windows 2008 R2 and Windows 2012), failed to resolve some domain names, which includes external -www.aaa.com for example, and internal AD-based domains. We discovered a workaround, by purging the cache on these servers. But at that point, we already have impacted the customers' calls.
1. Is this a known issue with Windows Server DNSCache service?
2. Is there a work around? I believe I could write a script to run regularly on all these servers, but we have tens of thousands of servers and I would think there should be a better mechanism to not use this type of work arounds.
Thanks
Khin
