Loading Form before Apps Form

Hello 

I have three forms frmMain, frmLoad and frmApp.

I have created a form which has a gif image showing that its loading frmLoad, I would like this form to start upon pressing the button then after the frmLoad is started, start them frmApp which can take upto a minute to load depending on the network connection.

However, the ways I have tried have failed, the closest I have come is to open the frmLoad but nothing is displayed on the form then frmApp opens and the image is shown on frmLoad...

Would threads be required for this?
