I was working on a project that I've been working on for months now and I decided I would play with adding a background to the main form window. After doing so and adjusting the background slightly while importing new variations of the picture, some elements
inside my form have vanished, such as ToolStrip1 and all it's contents as well as several labels.
I can select them in the Properties window and change their titles, etc. but they do not show in the designer window at all, not even when selected in the properties window. The error list shows no errors as though they were missing or deleted. It's as if everything is fine when clearly it isn't.
Anyone know what's going on or how I can get these vanished items back?

It some-what fixed itself, I went to close Visual Studios and it said "these files have been edited outside the project, would you like to update them?" I chose yes and it brought the labels back but the toolstrip never reappeared. I decided to just make another one, since I had only added 1 extra item to it since the last save of my project, I opened the older project and copy and pasted the toolstrip, of course I had to change the name of the toolstrip and it's buttons because it says they already exist with the names I was using before.
P.S. removing the background doesn't reveal anything, simply makes the background the default grey.
